The son of a Nazarene preacher from a small town in Southern Illinois, Bob knew he had a passion for music. At just 18 years old, he moved down to Nashville, Tennessee to follow his dreams. Upon arriving in Nashville, Bob started singing at the famous Opryland USA . While performing in many different shows at the park, he also had several other bands he would perform with all over the city. One of those bands spawned the group “Memphis,” which went on to travel the country and have great success in Canada. Bob briefly left Opryland USA to tour full time with “Memphis” only to find himself in a crossroads a few years later. Bob took the road less traveled and decided to come back to Nashville to play music and start a family.
Since then, Bob has performed on TNN’s “Nashville Now” and “Crooke and Chase”, among other televised shows. Bob continued his career on Gaylord Entertainment’s General Jackson Showboat, Wildhorse Saloon, and Music City Queen, while also getting the privilege to perform on the World Famous Grand Ole Opry on numerous occasions. It has also been a great honor for Bob to play numerous engagements at the Country Music Hall of Fame, one of his favorite venues to perform.
